New Offroad Machines for 2020!
It’s a great time of year as most of the manufacturers have announced their dirt line ups for 2020. There’s too much to cover in one blog post, but we’ve included some of the main highlights from each manufacturer with some links to some reputable reviews.
Honda
Honda has announced their dirt bike lineup for the 2020 as well as announcing a new 4 seat model of the Talon side by side. Here’s some of the main takeaways:
CRF450R: Honda Selecteable Torque Control(HSTC), refined front-rear balance, suspension updates, lower center of gravity (new battery position)
CRF450RWE: Full titanium Yoshimura exhaust (header and muffler instead of just the muffler), graphic updates,and the same updates as the CRF450R above.
CRF250R: Engine enhancements for low-to-midrange power, lighter frame and swingarm, lower center of gravity (battery relocation), updated internal front-and-rear suspension updates
CRF450RX: HSTC, lower battery position, internal suspension updates
CRF450L: New Graphics
CRF250RX: Engine enhancements, chassis revisions, lighter frame and swingarm, lower battery position, internal suspension updates
Talon 4 seat: All new Talon 1000X-4 and 1000X-4 Fox Live Valve machines have been announced for 2020.

Can-Am
Can-Am has announced all their 2020 ATV and Side by Side models with a newly announced 6 wheel vehicle, increased horsepower to the Maverick and more. Here’s the most notable changes:
Maverick: Now features 195-hp Rotax Turbo RR engine, suspension improvements, new wheel and tire packages. New 72″ wide Maverick X3 RS Turbo R model, 4 seat Maverick X3 Max X mr Turbo RR, and a 64-inch wide Maverick Sport X xc 1000R.
Defender: Redesigned for 2020 with 82 hp/69ft-lb torque Rotax motor and updates to improve ride, durability, and protection.
Defender 6×6 HD10: Brand new model with 6-wheel drive, 4.5 x 6.5ft cargo box and a 3000lb tow rating.

Yamaha
Yamaha has announced their 2020 lineup of dirt bikes including all new models such as the all new model yz125x and big changes to their yz bikes. Here are some of the most exciting things announced:
YZ450F: This bike has a host of new features, the biggest of which is are a completely new motor and frame. Other changes include a refined tranny and crankcase breather as well a switch for shift on the fly engine mapping! Gray is an new color option also available for 2020. YZ125X: This model is all new this year and based off the popular yz125 but with altered CDI ignition and power valve timing including a redesigned power valve. The cylinder head combustion chamber has been revamped as well. An 18″ rear wheel, O-Ring chain, and reserve function on the fuel petcock make this bike ready for more than just the track. YZ250FX: New bodywork and handlebar mounted map switch for on the fly engine mapping changes among other things.

Yamaha 2020 Offroad Bikes Overview
Kawasaki 
Kawasaki has announced all their 2020 dirt machine lineup with a teaser for a new sport side by side coming for 2020! The image above comes from a patent they filed earlier this year that will likely be the design of the new machine.
KX250: The most significant change to Kawasaki’s 2020 MX lineup is in the KX250 which received and engine redesign including different bore and stroke and reconfigured valve actuation and a revised frame. See more details at Dirt Bike Magazine.
KLX300R and KLX230R: These two off-road bikes are all new models for 2020 designed to cater to the recreational rider at a more affordable price point. With two new models, there’s more than we can cover in this post but Dirt Bike Magazine does a great job covering all the main points.
Sport Side by Side: Kawasaki released a 14 second teaser video showing an agressive looking 2 seat model side by side. No details about the machine have been officially released yet but we’re excited to see Kawasaki finally jump into the sport sxs market!
